Spinal and Pelvic Issues
We are experienced in dealing with spinal conditions and episodes of pelvic pain or sacroiliac joint (SIJ) irritations. We understand that back pain can have a big impact on your life whether it’s having a young family, work responsibilities or general day to day activities. Patients can often be overwhelmed where previous or current imaging has shown changes to their spine or pelvis. It is important to us to clearly explain and discuss the results with our patients to ensure they fully understand the outcomes and that undue concern is not impacting recovery.
We take an active approach to treating spinal and pelvic conditions, where patients will be encouraged to continue moving, even in the early stages of acute episodes. We utilise hands on treatments, however you will always be given appropriate home exercises depending on your current condition. You will also receive education and guidance on the best management strategy for your condition, particularly in preventing ongoing or future issues.
We are experienced in treating all areas of the body and have a strong focus towards hands on therapies as well as exercise rehabilitation. We use the following interventions to help you achieve your goals:
- Manual therapies
- Joint mobilisation
- Taping
- Dry needling
- Massage
- Stretching
- Rehabilitation strength exercises
- Balance work
